Finance Process Lead
Interim – Hybrid – £600 – £750 per day (Inside IR35) – Wiltshire or Northamptonshire
Opportunity description
One of our clients has just been acquired by a competitor. They’re looking for a Finance Process Lead to support the alignment of finance processes ahead of the transition to the acquirers Oracle Fusion ERP platform next year. The goal is to standardise current processes to enable a smooth data-led migration next, rather than a full transformation of systems and processes at go-live. You will also be looking at improving these processes as you transition to the new operating model.
Key Responsibilities
- Map as-is finance processes and align to the future to-be model
- Identify opportunities for process improvement (CI)
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and support process alignment
- Facilitate workshops and drive stakeholder engagement
- Ensure delivery stays on track, resolving issues and dependencies
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience leading finance transformation / process projects
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C)
- Confident, organised, and able to drive outcomes and challenge stakeholders
- Strong process mapping and Excel skills
Desirable
- Logistics / supply chain background
- ERP experience ideal, Oracle Fusion experience an added bonus
This is a high-impact role requiring someone proactive, assertive, and comfortable operating in ambiguity, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver critical change.
