This is an exciting opportunity to join a global team on a 12-month contract basis in the London office, playing a key role in deploying capital into high-impact, nature-based carbon projects globally.

What You’ll Do

This is a deal-focused opportunity for an Investment Manager to be an integral part of the investment team focusing on closing deals across afforestation/reforestation (ARR), improved forest management (IFM), mangroves, regenerative agriculture, peatlands, and other nature-based solutions (NbS).

  • Leading the execution of specific transactions: to assess, negotiate, execute, and manage transactions related to nature-based projects that can generate carbon credits, as well as interacting with potential partners and investors in delivering projects.
  • Supporting deal origination and pipeline development
  • Contributing to investor engagement and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
  • Asset management collaboration: working closely with asset management teams to ensure smooth transition from execution to operations and long-term value delivery.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • 5–10 years’ experience in transaction execution within real assets (ideally nature-based or infrastructure projects)
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Proven ability to structure and execute complex investments
  • Strong commercial judgement, entrepreneurial mindset and decision-making skills
  • Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills

Advantageous

  • Experience in nature-based carbon projects or natural capital investing
  • Project finance experience
  • Knowledge of international carbon markets and methodologies
  • Exposure to forestry, regenerative agriculture, or similar sectors
  • Additional language skills (e.g. Spanish or French)
