About the Role

We're working with a fast-growing, independent creative agency looking for a Social Media Manager to deliver standout, culturally relevant content across a range of high-profile brands. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you'll own everything from ideation through to execution and reporting - acting as a strategist, creator, and community lead. You'll be responsible for producing platform-native content that drives engagement, builds brand affinity, and taps into culture in real time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Execution: Create, shoot and edit engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X; Develop platform-first content calendars aligned to cultural moments and client objectives; Produce reactive, trend-led content at pace; Manage publishing and ensure consistent brand tone of voice.
  • Social Strategy & Insights: Contribute to integrated social campaigns across multiple clients; Use social listening and insights to inform content and campaign direction; Monitor trends, conversations and platform updates to identify opportunities; Bring proactive, culturally-led ideas to the table.
  • Community & Channel Management: Manage day-to-day community engagement across client accounts; Identify and act on real-time engagement opportunities; Monitor sentiment and audience behaviour to optimise performance.
  • Performance & Reporting: Track and analyse performance metrics; Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations; Present findings clearly to internal teams and clients.
  • Client & Commercial Support: Present ideas, content and performance updates to clients; Support campaign delivery and wider agency initiatives; Assist with project scopes, timelines and budgets where required.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years' experience in a social media role (agency preferred)
  • Strong hands-on content creation skills (filming & editing)
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, trends and algorithms
  • Confident communicator with strong storytelling ability
  • Highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with experience using reporting tools
  • Collaborative and proactive approach
  • Energetic, culturally aware and ideas-driven

The Culture

This is a high-performing, personality-led environment where creativity, proactivity and cultural awareness are key. The team values strong opinions, collaboration, and people who bring energy and ideas to the table. If you live and breathe social, love creating content, and want to be part of an ambitious and growing agency - we'd love to hear from you.
