About the Role

An outstanding opportunity for a senior media Account Director to lead one of the agency's most high-profile global client relationships. We're working with a top-tier media agency to find a Global Account Director to lead a complex, fast‑moving, multi‑market global account. This is a key leadership role, sitting at the heart of the business, with real influence across strategy, operations and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Client Leadership: Act as a senior, trusted day-to-day client contact; support development of annual plans; ensure clear storytelling; monitor satisfaction; bring insights and innovation.
  • Team Leadership: Support building and leading high-performing teams; provide clear direction; act as escalation point; mentor junior members; build relationships across teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive strong account management; implement effective models; track performance; translate global strategy into actions; maintain rigorous organization.
  • Delivering Brilliant Work: Contribute to innovative, data-led solutions; ensure quality; articulate recommendations; support case studies; build deep category understanding.
  • Communications: Lead global calls with clear agendas; ensure timely comms; flag issues; support client communications and media calls.

What We're Looking For

  • 6-10+ years' experience in a media agency or marketing environment
  • Proven experience managing large, complex or multi-market accounts
  • Strong understanding of media strategy, planning, activation and performance measurement
  • Confident communicator with senior clients and stakeholders
  • Experience delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of digital and data-led marketing (programmatic, paid social, search)
  • Highly organised, solutions-focused, and comfortable working at pace
  • Experience working within global organisations is a strong advantage
  • Commercially aware, with exposure to scopes of work and financial management
