The Housing Choice and Supply Service are seeking to recruit an Applications Officer within the Rehousing Team. You will be required to work as part of a team to assess and process applications to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Homesearch bidding scheme.

Key Duties
- Registering and assessing housing applications, to make a final decision on eligibility to join or remain on the Housing register in accordance with the allocations scheme, and housing legislation
- Comply with verification audit measures to ensure all applications are processed in line with our allocations scheme
- Respond to 100% stakeholder inquiries and complaints within the corporate timescale
You Will Be/Have
- A strong communicator, both written and orally
- A meticulous eye for detail, with the ability to address errors proactively in addition to sharing good practice with team members
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and to target
- Ability to report on own performance and that of the team
- Flexible and can adapt to competing demands
- Be a self starter with a solutions based approach to your work
- Experience of using IWorld Northgate, Icase work and Information at work (EDMS) is desirable, however training will be provided
