We are delivering an ambitious £25 million investment in parks, leisure, and open spaces over the next five years—enhancing the health and wellbeing of our residents through top-quality green spaces, play areas, and leisure facilities.

Project Manager.... We are looking for passionate and driven Project Managers to take the lead on a variety of capital projects, with a particular focus on delivering playground improvements as part of our £3 million play investment programme. About You

  • You have a genuine enthusiasm for parks, play, and leisure spaces and understand their vital role in community wellbeing.
  • You bring proven project management experience, successfully delivering construction projects of various scales and budgets.
  • You are confident in managing specialist consultants and contractors and skilled in budget management.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
  • You can produce detailed reports and engaging presentations for diverse audiences.

Additional details

This role is being offered as a Fixed Term Contract for three years, meaning the successful candidate will be employed for a set period with a defined end date. Fixed Term Contracts are used for specific business needs, such as project-based work, temporary funding, or to cover periods of change. While the contract will provide the same terms and conditions as a permanent role, including access to benefits, it is important to note that employment will not extend beyond the three-year period unless further opportunities arise.
