Wayfinding Location Planner / Spatial Strategist
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a wayfinding, placemaking and experience design agency based in London. This role is for a Location Planner / Spatial Strategist to deliver high-profile international projects.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to urban strategy, masterplanning, and experience design projects
- Translating research, analysis, and stakeholder insights in spatial and experiential design concepts
- Developing design narratives, diagrams, visualisations, and presentations for client communication
- Supporting project leaders in concept development, coordination, and delivery
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, and branding specialists
- Preparing reports, graphics, and visual material for presentations and documentation
- Participating in client meetings, workshops, and reviews
- Managing time and workflow to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Contributing to design research and innovation within the studio
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Architecture
- 2+ years of professional experience in urban or strategic design
- Strong analytical and conceptual design skills
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and their application in urban contexts
- Proficiency in 3D software (AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Enscape, Revit)
- Proficiency in 2D software (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, and proactive problem-solving approach
- Eligibility to work in the UK and commute to our office in Central London
- Experience in wayfinding, experiential design, or urban experience strategy is a benefit
- Understanding of information design and human-centered mobility systems is a benefit
