FULL DESCRIPTION

Wayfinding Location Planner / Spatial Strategist

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a wayfinding, placemaking and experience design agency based in London. This role is for a Location Planner / Spatial Strategist to deliver high-profile international projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to urban strategy, masterplanning, and experience design projects
  • Translating research, analysis, and stakeholder insights in spatial and experiential design concepts
  • Developing design narratives, diagrams, visualisations, and presentations for client communication
  • Supporting project leaders in concept development, coordination, and delivery
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, and branding specialists
  • Preparing reports, graphics, and visual material for presentations and documentation
  • Participating in client meetings, workshops, and reviews
  • Managing time and workflow to meet project deadlines and quality standards
  • Contributing to design research and innovation within the studio

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Architecture
  • 2+ years of professional experience in urban or strategic design
  • Strong analytical and conceptual design skills
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and their application in urban contexts
  • Proficiency in 3D software (AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Enscape, Revit)
  • Proficiency in 2D software (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong teamwork, flexibility, and proactive problem-solving approach
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and commute to our office in Central London
  • Experience in wayfinding, experiential design, or urban experience strategy is a benefit
  • Understanding of information design and human-centered mobility systems is a benefit
