Front of House Hospitality Supervisor

Full-Time (40 hours/week) - £14.30 per hour
About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Front of House Catering & Hospitality Supervisor to join the team at Edinburgh Academy Senior School. This role involves leading the front-of-house team, planning and managing events, training staff, and ensuring exceptional service. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with occasional flexibility for weekends and events.
- Lead our front-of-house team to deliver smooth, polished service across breakfast, lunch, and high-profile school events.
- Plan and manage events from start to finish.
- Train, motivate, and inspire front-line staff.
- Act as Allergen Champion, ensuring safety and clear communication.
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams.
- Maintain a welcoming, professional dining environment.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.
Requirements
- Strong hospitality or catering experience, ideally supervisory.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
- Natural leadership and coaching ability.
- Driving licence essential, own vehicle desirable.
