About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Front of House Catering & Hospitality Supervisor to join the team at Edinburgh Academy Senior School. This role involves leading the front-of-house team, planning and managing events, training staff, and ensuring exceptional service. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with occasional flexibility for weekends and events.

  • Lead our front-of-house team to deliver smooth, polished service across breakfast, lunch, and high-profile school events.
  • Plan and manage events from start to finish.
  • Train, motivate, and inspire front-line staff.
  • Act as Allergen Champion, ensuring safety and clear communication.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and management teams.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional dining environment.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Strong hospitality or catering experience, ideally supervisory.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
  • Natural leadership and coaching ability.
  • Driving licence essential, own vehicle desirable.
