About the Role
We're looking for an Operations Coordinator who wants more than just an admin role. This is a hands-on opportunity to become a central part of how the business runs day to day. One day you might be coordinating projects, improving internal processes or supporting performance reporting, the next you're helping solve operational issues, working across departments or driving business improvement initiatives. It's an exciting time to join us. The business is growing quickly, our services are evolving and strong operations are at the heart of delivering that growth successfully. This role will work closely with the Head of Business Operations to help keep everything moving efficiently, consistently and to a high standard. You'll play an important part in helping teams stay organised, aligned and accountable, while also improving the systems and processes that support our people and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Coordination: Support the day-to-day running of business operations across multiple departments; coordinate tasks, deadlines and priorities; act as key point of contact for internal operational queries; maintain communication across teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflows; help implement new processes; support continuous improvement projects; reduce errors and delays through smarter working practices.
- Reporting & Performance: Track key business and operational KPIs; prepare weekly/monthly reports; monitor progress against targets; use data to support decision-making.
- Project Support: Coordinate internal projects; track actions and timelines; support cross-functional projects involving operations, finance, sales, marketing or service teams.
- Systems & Organisation: Maintain accurate records and documentation; support systems like Monday.com; ensure processes are followed consistently.
Skills & Experience
- Essential: Previous office/coordination experience; strong organisational and prioritisation skills; excellent communication; good IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook; confident with data, KPIs and reporting; strong problem-solving; high attention to detail.
- Desirable: Project coordination experience; operations/business support background; experience with Monday.com; energy/utilities/service-sector experience; degree in Business/Operations.
