Sales Support Co-ordinator

Salary: £25k to £32k p.a. | Location: Ipswich | Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Contract: Permanent

Main Purpose of Job

Be the operational backbone of the sales team – ensuring orders flow smoothly from quote to delivery. Support sales in order processing, account management, and logistical solutions that underpin the sales operations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Order processing – enter and manage sales orders in ERP
  • Confirm pricing, availability and delivery dates
  • Help sales handle day-to-day enquiries/call-offs
  • Provide documentation
  • Assist account managers with quotes
  • Prepare requested reports
  • Liaise with transport and operations
  • Manage delivery schedules
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Enter and manage notes in CRM system
  • Communicate shortages or delays
  • Support allocation decisions

Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • ERP/CRM familiarity
  • Proven and strong attention to detail
