We are currently expanding our property management team and seeking experienced Assistant Sectional Title / Block Managers with proven expertise in the UK property industry to oversee diverse property portfolios for clients.
Role Overview
As an Assistant Block Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of residential blocks and estates, working closely with the Block Manager to ensure buildings are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach. In this role, you’ll act as a first point of contact for residents and contractors, manage routine maintenance tasks, and assist with compliance, financial administration, and major works projects.
What You’ll be Doing

Our [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] often support multiple clients at once, requiring them to adapt to different roles and responsibilities simultaneously.

- While responsibilities may vary depending on each client’s unique needs, in general, you will act as the first point of contact for leaseholders, residents, and contractors, logging and managing queries promptly. You will support the Block Manager by coordinating maintenance and major works, scheduling inspections, assisting with compliance and health & safety requirements, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves supporting financial administration, preparing reports and communications for residents, directors, and internal teams, and assisting with meetings, documentation, and budgets as required.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience in property, lettings, or facilities administration (residential property combined with block / sectional title experience is an advantage).
- Ideally, 1 year+ of experience in the UK property market with a good understanding of UK property laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Matric / Senior Certificate required, additional property courses and certifications are beneficial.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- A proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Interest in developing a career in block property management.
- Own work from home setup (relevant workspace, computer, strong internet connection).
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience working in UK block management, performing tasks such as service charge administration, liaising with leaseholders and residents, arranging communal maintenance works, and assisting with compliance for shared areas (fire safety, lifts, communal services) would be an advantage.
- TPI Level 2 (or working towards TPI Level 2 qualification)
- Experience in UK block management systems (i.e. Blocks Online, Qube, Landlord Vision, etc.)
- Relevant property management courses and certifications.
