Job Description
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Norwich for a Machine Manufacturing Operative.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing team, assembling and testing mechanical and electrical products to high quality standards. You’ll play a key role in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical products
- Work to production schedules and meet output targets
- Accurately follow engineering drawings and build procedures
- Complete sub-assembly and spares work orders on time
- Maintain quality standards and complete associated documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team
- Liaise with quality and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Assist other departments where required
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience using hand tools and assembly techniques
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to suggest improvements
- Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)

Hours & Pay
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 – 14:00
- £13.00 – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
