Location: Edinburgh / Glasgow / Newcastle (UK)

Work type: Hybrid | Job type: Full-time | Experience: Mid-Senior level

Job Description

This is a hands-on, client-facing role, offering the opportunity to shape impactful technology projects for our clients. You’ll typically provide technical leadership for one or more multidisciplinary teams delivering small to medium projects, or with the support of a Principal Architect on advisory engagements or larger programmes of work. You’ll have the opportunity to further develop your career by working alongside colleagues with a wide range of architectural experience, participating in our community of practice and contributing to our thought leadership (blogs, white papers, etc).

What are we looking for?

  • Practical experience in solution, application, data, or cloud architecture. Ideally in the development of bespoke software solutions.
  • Ability to select and apply appropriate architectural patterns and techniques in the design and governance of solutions effectively balancing requirements to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Understanding how to provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary delivery teams and work effectively within complex domains and/or large organizations.
  • As a strong communicator with a collaborative approach to work, you’re able to quickly build trust, communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, and explain complex technical concepts simply.
  • You embrace the chance to try new things, learn new skills and share your knowledge and experience with others.

What you’ll get in return

  • 25 days’ annual leave, rising incrementally to 30 days after six years of service.
  • Generous family leave policies.
  • Access to an employer pension scheme and Group Life Assurance.
  • A range of optional benefits such as discounted gym membership and a cycle-to-work scheme.
  • A meaningful approach to evaluating your performance and providing feedback on your progress.

At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], we value the flexibility of remote working alongside the value gained from spending time with our colleagues and clients. In our offices you’ll find employee-led clubs and events, as well as free games, books, and refreshments.

We have shared values that govern our behaviour toward others and the environment. We are proud to be a B Corp, a global movement of businesses driving for a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

We believe diversity drives innovation, and embrace a culture where everyone can contribute, irrespective of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability.
