About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Permanent Warehouse Operative - Multi Skilled to join our busy team in Paisley, Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehousing duties including picking, packing, and preparing materials to ensure the smooth distribution of finished goods. You will play a vital part in loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all products are stored correctly and safely. The role requires a proactive approach to health and safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment. As a multi-skilled operative, you may be tasked with operating forklifts after training and handling stock using RF scanning equipment, all while adhering to the company's standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or operational environment is preferred.
  • Ability to manually handle and maneuver finished hides and other materials.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and resilient nature, capable of proactively solving issues.
  • Good attention to detail and basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
  • Ability to operate forklift trucks (training provided if needed).
  • Strong team player with good communication skills and the ability to adapt to change.
  • Able to prioritise workload and manage time effectively to meet targets.
