About the Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the service. Your role will include cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, corridors, and staff areas. You will follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention guidance, using equipment and cleaning products safely and correctly. You will work as part of the wider team, understanding that your role plays a direct part in keeping service users safe and comfortable. Your working hours will be 16:00–19:00, three days per week, worked fairly across seven days for our 15 hours per week role.
About You
You do not need previous experience in care, but you do need a strong sense of responsibility. You take pride in your work and understand that high standards are not optional. You follow guidance, work methodically, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You understand the importance of confidentiality and respect people’s privacy. You are reliable, consistent, and willing to learn. Full training and support will be provided.
