Make a real difference every day. Are you a caring, compassionate person who wants a rewarding role supporting veterans and older residents to live independently? We are looking for Domiciliary Carers to join our supportive Care team at the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].

What you'll be doing

  • Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene)
  • Supporting mobility, moving and handling safely
  • Assisting with medication, including administration and self-medication support
  • Helping with nutrition and hydration, meal preparation and kitchen tasks
  • Providing companionship, welfare chats and emotional support
  • Supporting residents with shopping, appointments and community activities
  • Keeping residents' homes clean, safe and comfortable (laundry, cleaning, bed changes)
  • Accurately recording care and reporting any concerns in line with CQC and safeguarding requirements

What we're looking for

Essential: A caring, kind and compassionate nature; good communication and listening skills; basic literacy, numeracy and IT skills; physically fit; team player with positive attitude.

Desirable: Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care; use of vehicle; Care Certificate; experience in domiciliary or care settings; ability to work independently.
