Software Developer

Job Summary

The software developer will be working within the development team of the Trust's Digital department. The role involves software engineering, application development, system integration, and technical problem solving. Based at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in Cambridge.

Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required

  • Provide bespoke software solutions for process automation, system integration and data provision.
  • Analyse, investigate and recommend technical solutions for complex data storage and reporting needs.
  • Develop custom scripts, views, procedures and report information to meet Trust requirements.
  • Safeguard security and confidentiality of personal data.
  • Develop working knowledge of the Trust data warehouse.
  • Make informed judgements across a range of options, including analysing bugs and resolving issues.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential: BSc Degree in Computing or numerate discipline or relevant experience. Desirable: Microsoft certification, project management qualification.

Experience

Essential: SQL, T-SQL, C#, Visual Studio, APIs, relevant coding experience, working understanding of data structures. Desirable: React, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, WinForms, WPF, ASP.Net, MVC, Web Forms, JavaScript, HTML, XAML, CSS, FHIR APIs, REST, SOAP, HL7 messaging, Batch and Powershell scripts.
