Job Description

Responsible For: Volunteers and Volunteer Coaches

Summary of Job: To deliver high-quality coaching at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], supporting the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Head Teaching Professional, with a primary focus on junior development. The role also supports the effective delivery of the club’s custom fitting and club repair services. The role will ensure coaching and fitting services are professionally delivered, well organised and aligned with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] best practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • To support the development and delivery of the club’s junior coaching programme, providing a structured and engaging pathway for junior members
  • To assist with organising and promoting junior golf at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
  • To deliver school/junior development courses that maximise student progress and enjoyment in the game.
  • Lead and supervise any staff/volunteers that help with coaching.
  • Utilise available coaching technology within the custom fitting studio to maximise the player experience
  • Assist with the delivery of the club’s custom fitting and club repair services in line with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] best practice
  • Maintain high presentation and service standards within the custom fitting studio and club repair room, ensuring that fitting and repair equipment is maintained and fit for purpose
  • Ensure Health & Safety, Safeguarding and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] standards are maintained
  • Ensure consistent implementation and adherence to the standards set out within the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Child Wellbeing & Protection Policy
  • Adult coaching may be undertaken outside of contracted hours and Private Coaching arranged directly with clients, provided it does not conflict with or detract from the primary duties.
  • All use of club facilities for private coaching must be approved in advance and will be subject to agreed hire terms and fees.

  • Strong junior coaching experience
  • Experience working within a structured academy environment
