Catholic Schools Inspection Co-ordinator
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is recruiting a Co-ordinator for Catholic Schools Inspections (CSI). This is a 0.8 FTE, 2-year fixed term contract with a salary of £50,000 (£40,000 pro rata). Location: Bowen House, London SE1 7JE and St Edwards House, Orpington BR5 2SR. Flexible working considered. Required for January 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Background
The new national framework for inspecting Catholic schools begins in the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in April 2023. The role involves liaising with peer dioceses (Westminster, Brentwood, Arundel and Brighton, Northampton) and the Catholic Education Service. Administrative support provided.
Person Specification
Essential
- A good knowledge of the mission and aims of Catholic education
- Substantial experience of leadership in education
- Proven successful leadership of an organisation
- Good IT, literacy and communication skills
Desirable
- A good understanding of the Catholic life, Collective Worship and teaching of RE at various phases
- Experience of school inspection
- Car owner and full driving licence
