  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, nights 18:00 - 06:00
  • Salary: £32,000 per year

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling and dispatching drivers.
  • Monitor transportation costs and performance metrics to ensure efficiency.
  • Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
  • Utilise logistics software to track shipments and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities.

Skills and Experience

  • Essential: Customer service, logistics, computer literacy.
  • Desirable: IT, supply chain, proficiency in Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred.
