Role Overview
As a Tier 2 Support Engineer, you handle complex, high-impact issues including HRIS integration failures and data pipeline behaviour across GCP. You use runbooks, work with Engineering, and feed insights back into documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Escalation Management: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Technical Liaison: Coordinate with Engineering via Linear.
- Trend and Root Cause Analysis: Identify recurring systemic issues.
- Documentation and Enablement: Own the Knowledge Base.
- Customer Onboarding Support: Ensure data quality for HRIS integrations.
- Product Advocacy: Voice of the customer in product discussions.
Technical Skills and Expertise
- Data and Debugging: SQL, GCP Cloud Logging, Datadog.
- Development: Python or JavaScript.
- APIs and Integrations: REST APIs, webhooks, HRIS/ATS integrations.
- Infrastructure: GCP and Datadog.
- Tooling: Linear, DevCycle, Slack, Notion.
