Job Summary

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], the British arm of family owned [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], are a leading manufacturer and distributor of marine brands. We now require a top performing Commercial Marine Account Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building relationships, identifying, and maximising sales opportunities and promoting fantastic customer service. Remote or Hybrid position.

Responsibilities

  • Developing new opportunities, driving sales, building relationships with key clients within the sales territory.
  • Regularly visit and communicate with business partners, ranging from Boat builders, Chandleries and service stations, with the aim of maximising sales and relationships.
  • Proactively obtain market feedback to help identify sales opportunities.
  • Deliver and provide product training and support to business partners on all brands within the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] offering.
  • Work in tandem with the internal [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] team to offer market leading customer service to business partners.
  • Continuously adapt to the market and demonstrate clear communication and problem solving skills to overcome any issues presented.
  • Represent [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] at worldwide Boat shows and Trade shows.

Requirements

  • Experience of B2B sales and account management
  • A winning hunger and positive mind-set
  • Motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of the commercial marine sector
  • A willingness to actively engage with current and potential customers
  • Able to build and develop relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
