[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a well-established, independently owned firm of chartered accountants and business advisors. We are seeking an Events Coordinator to join our Marketing and Business Development department.
What will I be doing?
- Managing the full event lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through to coordination and on-the-day delivery.
- Planning and delivering a variety of events, including conferences, dinners and meetings.
- Maintaining events and sponsorship calendars and making sure our people are aware of upcoming opportunities.
- Sourcing, visiting and selecting venues that meet event requirements and budgets.
- Organising catering, managing dietary requirements, booking speakers, equipment and room layouts.
- Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met.
- Reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts to secure the best possible terms.
- Working closely with the Marketing team to promote events and ensure branding and materials are in place.
What experience do I need?
- Proven experience organising large corporate events from start to finish (minimum criteria).
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (minimum criteria).
- Experience in a professional services environment desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience managing budgets and tracking costs.
- A confident, positive approach with a real passion for delivering high-quality events.
- A trustworthy and reliable nature, with discretion and flexibility.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, communication and time-management skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
- This is a part-time position working 22.5 hours per week, but flexibility will be required.
