Assistant Brand Manager - Breakfast

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring an Assistant Brand Manager for their Breakfast marketing team, working on brands like FUEL10K and Ambrosia. This hybrid role based in St Albans involves driving brand growth through innovation, campaigns, and P&L management. The ideal candidate has FMCG marketing experience, data analysis skills, and strong project management abilities.

Location: St Albans, GB | Type: Permanent, Full Time | Hybrid (50% office/home)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Brand & business performance – tracking and analysing brand performance, turning insight into clear recommendations and supporting annual brand plans
  • Innovation & NPD – leading end‑to‑end delivery of innovation and EPD projects, from concept and packaging to launch and post‑launch review
  • Campaigns & activation – executing social media, BTL campaigns and brand activations across digital, in‑store and e‑commerce channels, working closely with agency partners
  • Commercial & P&L ownership – owning the P&L for a defined area of the portfolio (Porridge), managing budgets and supporting forecasting
  • Customer & channel development – supporting compelling retailer presentations and partnering with Sales to deliver best‑in‑class execution
  • Cross‑functional collaboration – working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and R&D to deliver projects seamlessly

What We Need from You

  • Experience in FMCG marketing or a similarly fast‑paced commercial environment
  • Confidence working with data and insight tools (e.g. Circana, Worldpanel, Excel)
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A passion for brands, consumers and innovation
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to influence stakeholders
