About the Role
We're looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our Control Mechanism team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. You'll work primarily on frontend surfaces across web and mobile products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain features across web and mobile surfaces for expense review, approval workflows, and spend controls.
- Investigate and debug complex issues involving business logic, permissions, and data across multiple services.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end.
- Contribute to technical decisions and help shape architecture evolution.
- Partner with other [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] teams.
What You Bring
- Solid experience with frontend development, ideally with React and React Native.
- Genuine curiosity for how systems work end-to-end.
- Full-stack experience or sound understanding of backend services, APIs, and data flows.
- Strong investigation skills.
- Business and product awareness.
- Methodical approach to testing and shipping.
- Good communication skills.
- Background in fintech or complex permissions systems is a plus.
Who You’ll Be Working With
You'll report to our Senior Engineering Manager for the Spend Controls area. The Control Mechanism team has 6 engineers. You'll work with our Senior Frontend Engineer, PM, designers, and engineers from other [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] teams.
Development
In your first months, you'll build deep understanding of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s spend management product, take ownership of frontend features, grow full-stack fluency, and contribute to architectural decisions.
