The Paid Acquisition Manager (PPC & Affiliates) is a key role within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s Acquisition Marketing team, responsible for driving efficient customer acquisition across paid search (Google & Microsoft Ads), affiliate marketing and other acquisition-led media channels that support full-funnel performance such as display & video.
This role plays a critical part in evolving the team’s approach from lead generation to full-funnel acquisition, ensuring paid activity is measurable, continuously optimised and increasingly connected to downstream outcomes such as sales & revenue. Supporting acquisition across B2C and B2B, this is a hands-on implementation role, with day-to-day responsibility for planning, executing and optimising paid acquisition activity in a complex, fast-moving environment, combining deep channel expertise with broader commercial and creative thinking.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Own Paid Search Performance - lead strategy and execution across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, optimising structure, bidding, messaging and landing page alignment to improve ROAS and reduce CAC
- Grow and Optimise Affiliates and Partnerships - manage and develop affiliate programme, covering partner recruitment, relationship management and commercial optimisation
- Deliver Acquisition-led Media Beyond Search - plan, manage and optimise activity across display and video, supporting funnel progression
- Lead Experimentation and Testing - own structured experimentation roadmaps, identifying under-utilised channels and scalable growth levers
- Drive Insight through Measurement and Forecasting - produce data-led performance reporting and own channel forecasts
- Stay up to date with the Market - monitor competitor activity and platform updates
- Collaborate Cross-functionally - work with creative, brand, ecommerce, product, tech, analytics and agencies
- Support Robust Tracking and Measurement - partner with analytics and tech to ensure reliable conversion tracking
What You Will Bring
- Hands-on Paid Acquisition Experience with strong track record in paid search and acquisition-led media
- Deep Paid Search Expertise in Google Ads and ideally Microsoft Ads
- Strong Technical Experience with conversion tracking and measurement frameworks; Google Tag Manager a bonus
- Affiliate and Partnership Management experience
- Strong Analytical Capability in GA4 and Excel
- Forecasting and Commercial Thinking
- Experimentation Mindset with A/B testing experience
- Collaborative Communication skills
