Service Director Growth And Regeneration
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is recruiting a Service Director to lead growth and regeneration. Salary: £107,790 - £128,742 per year. Permanent, full-time (37 hours/week). Location: Sand Martin House, Peterborough.
All about the Role
Peterborough is changing! We are already delivering an ambitious growth and regeneration programme to create new opportunities for our residents and businesses, including a £65M Station Quarter scheme, a new Sports Quarter, and the remaining projects in our Towns Fund programme. And we are working with Homes England and our Combined Authority to shift the gear on housing growth and on creating a new vision for our city's core. We need an ambitious Service Director to lead this existing phase of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s development. With responsibility for strategic assets, planning, building control, economic development, and adult skills, you will be at the helm of a dynamic team of committed colleagues who are all striving for the best for our city.
All about You
Do you have extensive experience in growth and regeneration programme delivery at a whole-place level, and in working with a wide range of partners including developers, investors, government, and funders? Are you visionary and able to create a compelling narrative for positive change as well as able to deliver on what you've promised? Do you have experience of negotiating the best outcomes for whole communities?
