We have an exciting opportunity for a paramedic to join our team at HMP Brixton in London.

Hours: The shifts are 07:30 -20:30 Monday to Friday and 08:30-20:30 Saturday to Sunday. There are no night shifts currently but this is subject to change.

Salary: This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of £46,478 to £55,086 per annum depending on experience.

Main Duties of the Job

• Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, focusing on emergency and unplanned care.
• Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
• Play an active part in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care following policies and safeguarding procedures.

Person Specification

Qualifications (Essential)

• Qualified Paramedic
• Current professional registration (HCPC)

Experience (Essential)

• Proven post-registration ambulance experience
• Evidence of continued professional development
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries/illness

Additional Criteria

• Disclosure and Barring Service Check required
• UK professional registration required
