We have an exciting opportunity for a paramedic to join our team at HMP Brixton in London.
Hours: The shifts are 07:30 -20:30 Monday to Friday and 08:30-20:30 Saturday to Sunday. There are no night shifts currently but this is subject to change.
Salary: This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of £46,478 to £55,086 per annum depending on experience.

Main Duties of the Job
- Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, focusing on emergency and unplanned care.
- Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
- Play an active part in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care following policies and safeguarding procedures.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
- Qualified Paramedic
- Current professional registration (HCPC)
Experience (Essential)
- Proven post-registration ambulance experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries/illness
Additional Criteria
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check required
- UK professional registration required
