Laundry Assistant at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a dedicated Laundry Assistant for the new Pittyvaich Care Home in Inverness. This is a part-time, permanent position offering £12.21 per hour. The role is not eligible for sponsorship.

About the Role

Ensure all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and returned to residents in a timely manner.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents' clothing and linens.
Inspect items for cleanliness, maintain laundry equipment, and follow infection control procedures.
Accurate record-keeping, responding to residents' requests, and adhering to safety protocols.
Work closely with staff to ensure efficient service; duties may vary over time.
Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred, along with attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks and operate machinery safely.
