About the Role

We are looking for a Relief Shift Leader who is dedicated to making every moment count. Suitable applicants must have completed their SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (including Medication Administration unit). As a Relief Shift Leader, you will need to be adaptable and able to lead effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team are essential for ensuring high standards of care.

  • Support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents, treating them with respect and dignity.
  • Report, record, and address issues related to staff, residents, relatives, or visitors; manage staff schedules and support care staff.
  • Contribute to residents' care planning and reviews, administer and monitor medication, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with physiological measurements, oversee safety and security, and promote health and safety practices.
  • Support residents and families during palliative care and bereavement; attend training and monitor nutrition.
