Job Summary

The Trust SpR will join the UGI team at the ST3 - ST5 level for on call commitments. The post-holder will be expected to take on duties and commitments at the level of a ST3 - ST5 and higher levels of responsibility may be offered by mutual agreement.

Successful candidates will work alongside a team of registrars providing ward care and emergency surgery on call commitments, as well as receiving opportunities in theatre, clinic as well as endoscopy if so desired. Previous post-holders have been able to progress their training in all areas of their professional development and many have gone on to gain entry to higher surgical training rotations.

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week. Oncall, post take, nights, weekends, clinics, theatres
