Domestic Assistant (Urray House)

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Domestic Assistant for their Urray House Care Home in Muir of Ord. This part-time permanent role involves cleaning all areas of the care home, including vacuuming, polishing, sanitizing, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, has excellent communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced setting. No previous experience required, full training provided.

Job Type: Part-time (3.75 hours per week)
Duration: Permanent
Schedule: Days (rotational basis including weekends)
Hourly Rate: £12.21
Location: Urray House Care Home, Muir of Ord

The Role

Responsible for cleaning all areas of the care home in accordance with cleaning schedules.
Vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and specialist rooms.
Dust, polish furniture, clean windows, sanitize surfaces, and refresh rooms before new residents arrive.
Emptying bins, cleaning vases, moving furniture for thorough cleaning, managing cleaning supplies, and reporting faulty equipment.
Adherence to Health and Safety and Infection Control policies is essential, along with completing records and attending mandatory training and staff meetings.
