Wellbeing Coordinator (Lynemore)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator to join their team at Lynemore Care Home in Grantown-on-Spey. This part-time, permanent role offers an hourly rate of £13.00.

Job Details

The Role

  • Promote general health and mental wellbeing of residents, maintaining quality of life through regular physical exercise, mental stimulation, and support regarding social, cultural, and religious beliefs.
  • Provide and assist residents to access and participate in a range of recreational activities, either in groups or individually.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Observe, monitor, and record the condition of residents, including maintaining personal life stories and care plan sections on activities and lifestyle choices.
  • Help residents to keep mobile and contribute to moving and handling using correct techniques.
  • Support health and safety of residents, self, staff, and visitors.
  • Ensure all interactions with residents are beneficial to their health and wellbeing.
  • Support the Manager in implementing Managing Falls and Fractures and the Care About Physical Activity Agenda.
  • Attend mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Health and Safety, Elementary Food Hygiene, Infection Control, and First Aid.
  • Maintain confidentiality about residents, families, other staff, and company matters.
