Wellbeing Coordinator (Weston View)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in Keith. This part-time (18 hours per week) permanent role involves promoting residents' mental and physical wellbeing through activities, social engagement, and support.

  • Job Type: Part-time (18 hours per week)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Schedule: Days (rotational basis including weekends)
  • Hourly Rate: £13.00

The Role

  • Promote general health and mental wellbeing of residents, maintaining quality of life through physical exercise, mental stimulation, and social/cultural/religious support.
  • Provide and assist residents to access and participate in recreational activities (group or individual) to foster a happy and content life.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals to foster a happy working environment.
  • Observe, monitor, and record residents' condition during activities and care, maintaining personal life stories and care plan sections.
  • Help residents stay mobile, contribute to moving and handling using correct techniques, and follow falls management policies.
  • Support health and safety of residents, self, staff, and visitors.
  • Ensure all interactions benefit residents' health and wellbeing, including group/individual activities, hospital appointments, and mealtimes.
  • Support the Manager in implementing Managing Falls and Fractures and The Care About Physical Activity Agenda.
  • Attend mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Infection Control, and First Aid.
  • Maintain confidentiality about residents, families, staff, and company matters.
