Independent Reviewing Officer

This permanent, hybrid role offers a salary of £59,008 - £62,422 and involves managing a caseload, using motivational interviewing and a relational strengths-based approach. A social work qualification is required.

About the Role

We have transformed the way we help our Independent Reviewing Officers get the best outcomes possible for every child and family. We do this through manageable caseloads, great management support, reflective supervision, and continual professional development.

  • Focus on successful outcomes for families using a relational, strengths-based approach.
  • Use motivational interviewing to engage and support children and families.
  • Be supported with individual supervision to promote wellbeing and professional development.
  • Hold a manageable caseload as directed by the IRO handbook.
  • Opportunities to continue learning through training, webinars, and reflective sessions.
