About the Role

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join the Propositions & Lifecycle product marketing team within our English Language Teaching (ELT) division as Marketing Manager on a fixed term contract for 6 months, with possibility of extension. In this role, you will support the development of messaging, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategies that contribute to growth in sales, customer acquisition, and long-term engagement. Working across the full product lifecycle, you will create effective launch materials and marketing tools that inform product and service development, guide global and regional marketing activity and contribute to the wider marketing strategy.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and create a clear, competitively advantaged customer value proposition for the ELT portfolio, including USPs, product positioning, and key sales messages ensuring it is aligned with the wider marketing and integrated offer strategies
  • Champion the customer voice by working in collaboration with the Product Portfolio Managers to enhance the proposition for the customer and to ensure that products are aligned to the value proposition, product messaging and positioning strategies.
  • Define marketing strategy for frontlist product with clear and meaningful marketing objectives and KPIs agreed with relevant stakeholders
  • Input and inform regional marketing plans designed to support product launches
  • Define impactful and detailed messaging and key course information into the Product Information Manual and appropriate bibliographic repository to ensure consistency across channels, regional and global usage
  • Champion best practice in proposition development and provide guidance to Marketing and Product teams as required
  • Coordinate appropriate research (to be carried out by the Marketing Research team) to support proposition understanding and enhancement
  • Plan, create and deliver collateral within the current defined Product Launch Pack, on time and to budget.
  • Manage designated budget to ensure best return on investment

About You

  • Familiar with marketing fundamentals (use of data, KPIs, customer lifecycle, customer journey)
  • Knowledge of and experience in ELT and / or the education sector, particularly in relation to teaching and learning materials, both print and digital
  • Experience of managing a wide portfolio of projects and responsibilities
  • Experience in developing marketing plans and implementing multichannel campaigns
  • Customer-focused, solution-focused, and a team player
  • Able to think creatively and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
  • Able to synthesise data and information and use it to inform marketing plans
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable with change and open to learning
  • Ability to multi-task and comfortable managing / working across different project teams in a busy environment
  • Previous experience in using of ClickUp and Highspot (desirable)
