FP&A Analyst

About the Role

The FP&A Reporting Analyst provides high quality financial reporting and insight that supports effective decision making across the business. The role partners closely with FP&A, Finance Data and the wider business to develop intuitive Power BI and Excel reporting, improve data quality, and continuously enhance finance processes.

  • Own the relationships with key stakeholders across FP&A, Finance and the wider business; identify and document report requirements; design insightful reports (ad hoc and recurring) to meet prioritised business needs.
  • Clearly communicate new report data requirements to the Finance Data team and work with them in data collection and their creation of data models. Support the automation and simplification of data delivery by the data team. Identify data quality issues and, working with the data team, help to resolve the issues.
  • Create insightful, tailored, intuitive and accurate reporting outputs (primarily in Excel and PBI) to stakeholders to support decision making, accurate financial results and to drive business performance.
  • Maintain reporting, seeking continuous improvement in accuracy, depth and efficiency.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] office.

About You

  • Finance qualification or studying for a professional qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Experience in creating PBI or Tableau reports and dashboards (visuals)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience of problem solving and analysis techniques to define problems
  • Initiative and ability to successfully implement new ideas, with drive to push through.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Commitment to continual personal professional development
