This involves decommissioning multiple links and implementing traffic engineering to optimize the clients circuits. Future phases will include service consolidation and data center migrations.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.

You will be required to be on site 3 days a week, based in Central London

What you'll be doing

• Occasional data centre visits as part of operational support or project work
• Hands on experience with multiple Vendors, primarily Cisco and Fortinet
• Required for multiple projects deliveries – DC Transformation
• Working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Part of the core network team
• Future phases will include service consolidation and data center migrations.
• Key Responsibilities: This is a full-lifecycle role (Design, Build, Test, and Implementation), including the creation of runbooks and active stakeholder engagement

What you'll bring

• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper networking technologies. CCNP Level capability Focus is on Cisco
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimise enterprise-grade routing and switching environments.
• Strong working experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet/Fortigate firewalls. Focus is on Fortinet
• Skilled in implementing security policies, managing firewall configurations, and supporting network security best practices.
