Theatre Practitioner

Located in Newcastle. Full-time, 40 hours per week, salary from £35,000 per annum.

About the Role

Operating in our state of the art treatment centre at our Newcastle clinic, our surgery team is crucial to our patients’ visual outcomes and to the success of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. You will work alongside our expert Ophthalmologists as part of our refractive and cataract surgery multidisciplinary clinical teams. There will be a requirement for flexibility to work at our other clinics on a regular basis (all expenses covered by [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]).

  • Laser Vision Correction – Scrub
  • Intraocular Lens (Cataract) – Scrub
  • Anaesthetic assistant
  • Pre-operative assessments
  • Undertake pre-screening diagnostic duties
  • Discharge patients with after-care advice and medications
  • Medicines management
