Job Responsibilities
- Assist and support individual pupils on the SEND register by planning and preparing lessons, assessing pupil progress and next steps.
- Support students on the SEND register as required, including those with EHCPs.

About You
To be considered, you must have:
- Extensive experience working with children with Down Syndrome
- Experience working with children in Key Stage 2
- Experience with communication and interaction difficulties
- Fluency in Makaton or sign-a-long
- Knowledge of effective strategies for communication and interaction difficulties
- Understanding of social, cultural and physical needs of pupils
- Interest in how children learn and behave
- Ability to provide appropriate role models of behaviour
- Genuine care for children, especially those with learning and behavioural challenges
