Healthcare Assistant Developmental- Perran & Carbis Ward

This role is available on Carbis and Perran ward. Shift patterns will include day, night and twilight hours.
Main duties of the job
- Supporting patients with personal care and daily activities
- Promoting dignity, independence and well-being
- Supporting therapeutic and recovery-focused ward activities
- Observing and reporting changes in patients' mental and physical health
- Working closely with nurses, doctors and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining a safe, caring and supportive ward environment

Person Specification
Education, Qualifications and Relevant Experience
- Essential: Willingness and competency to complete the Care Certificate within set timeframe
- Desirable: Level 2 qualification or experience in a care environment
Skills and Aptitude
- Essential: Willing to assist and support patients, carers and staff as needed
- Essential: Ability to cope with a varied workload
