General Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a General Manager for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Aire View Care Home in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent role offering £65,000 per year. The closing date is 04 July 2026.
Job Summary
Your focus as General Manager will be to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, whilst meeting regulatory requirement, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets. Other responsibilities will include: ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care, person-centred care, and ensuring residents receive care based on best practice; being responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home; acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents wellbeing; ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency; providing on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team; and ensuring costs are well-managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
Main Duties of the Job

About You
- Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Have Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
- Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
