Patient Care Administrator

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Patient Care Administrator to act as the first point of contact for patients, coordinating appointments, prescriptions, referrals, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires excellent communication, IT skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Newton Abbot, Devon.

Main Duties

  • Acting as the first point of contact for patients, either in person, on the telephone, or via email.
  • Coordinating appointments, ordering of prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care.

Qualifications (Essential)

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • GCSE Mathematics and English (C or above)
