The Vacancy
We are recruiting a Project Coordinator, to work 35 hours per week who will have the overall responsibility for our Parent Advocacy service. This is a fixed term role until March 2027 with possibility of extension.
You will monitor project activity and budget, complete monthly returns and prepare reports for quarterly monitoring meetings in order to ensure the project is reaching targets and keeping within budget.
You will be responsible for the overall management of the service workforce and resources to ensure that service targets and outcomes are consistently achieved in line with contract specifications.
To meet the requirements of the role you must live within the geographical area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in working with children and young people in a social care setting, particularly children in care
- Proven experience of the recruitment and management of staff and or volunteers
- Experience and understanding of child protection/vulnerable adult safeguarding procedures
- Interview and training skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and to a high standard both orally and in writing to a wide range of people.
