Payroll Specialist
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are delighted to be partnered with a financial services firm, who are looking for a Payroll Specialist, on a 12 month contract. This role will be responsible for payroll and requires a professional with strong knowledge of UK statutory benefits, and leave administration who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and have full responsibility for the UK payroll
- Manage UK benefits administration, including payroll deductions, enrolments, vendor coordination, and alignment with statutory requirements.
- Lead benefits related projects such as annual renewals, harmonisation initiatives, and employee communications to enhance engagement and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with legislative processes and tax obligations.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery in payroll processing
- Monitor changes in UK tax, payroll, and statutory legislation, proactively assessing impact and implementing necessary updates.
- Conduct periodic reviews of payroll, benefits, and leave processes to ensure alignment with current UK legislation, best practice, and internal policy
Key Skills
- Strong UK payroll experience is essential
- Proven experience of 5+ years in benefits
- Good knowledge of ADP and Workday
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
