Job Summary

Main Duties of the Job
- Liaise between nurses, other clinicians, patients, relatives to support safe care
- Attend and participate in board rounds, ward rounds and other daily unit activities
- Provide appropriate workplace supervision to other staff as needed
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, especially documentation
- Arrive on time for shifts and be available from start time
- Cooperate with workforce deployment team
- Attend local induction when working in new areas
- Comply with all local policies, including trust values

Qualifications
Essential: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
Eligibility
Essential: Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment; evidence of Foundation competencies; eligibility to work in the UK.
Fitness to Practice
Essential: Up to date and fit to practice safely
Skills
Essential: Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English; capacity to apply sound clinical knowledge; communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, time management.
Desirable: Aptitude for practical skills; attendance at relevant courses; evidence of academic achievements; audit participation; teaching experience.
