Job Summary

We are looking to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine to support our highly rated services at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This role will suit those who may be looking for a part-time baseline contract to underpin and enable them to take up other pursuits and opportunities. We are able to offer a degree of flexibility for scheduling at approximately 50% of the full-rota pattern, and it is expected that a number of each shift type will be worked.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• MRCEM/Intermediate FRCEM
• Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise.
• ALS

Experience

• Completed at least four years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme relevant to EM, or as a: fixed term specialty trainee in EM; or have equivalent experience and competencies.
• Experience in making clinical decisions and managing risk
• Experience of participation in CPD.
• Quality/audit project experience.
• Clinical supervision experience/skills

Skills

• Up to date knowledge of emergency medicine and evidence of an understanding of its application
