Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our friendly and forward-thinking training practice at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group. The post-holder will work as an autonomous practitioner, delivering high-quality, patient-centred clinical care. No home visits or on-call. Clinics typically consist of approximately 15 patients per session. The role may include Enhanced Access sessions and occasional cross-site working.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Provision of medical services to the Practice, managing a caseload of health needs in a primary care setting.
  • Contribution to evaluation, audit and clinical standard setting.
  • Commitment to life-long learning and evidence-based best practice.
  • Excellent IT skills for accurate patient records and good communication with colleagues and external partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
  • Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance

  • Processing of administration including referrals, repeat prescriptions
  • Maintain accurate clinical records

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified GP
  • MRCGP
  • Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
  • General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)

Essential Skills

  • Outstanding clinical knowledge and skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong IT skills, including SystmOne and AccuRx
  • Effective time management and planning
  • Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
