As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll provide vital support to service users in care homes. Responsibilities include: delivering high-quality person-centred care, carrying out clinical tasks (observations, wound care, catheter/stoma care), implementing care plans, supervising junior staff, maintaining a safe environment, and promoting independence.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum 6 months paid UK care experience in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role within last 3 years
- Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting (Required)
- SVQ LEVEL 3 Qualification with medication administration experience
- Relevant registration (SSSC, SCW, NISSC) for Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland
- Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling
