About the Role
Deliver exceptional care as a Senior Care Assistant with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. You'll provide vital support to service users in care homes, offering flexibility, great pay, and career development.
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the wider clinical team. Deliver compassionate personal care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure patients' dignity and comfort.
- Carry out clinical tasks including taking observations, supporting wound care, collecting specimens, assisting with catheter and stoma care, and monitoring patients' wellbeing.
- Work closely with registered nurses to implement care plans, contribute to safe patient flow, and maintain accurate documentation. Supervise and support junior healthcare assistants.
- Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment, follow infection-prevention procedures, report concerns, and manage equipment and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, offering reassurance, promoting independence, and upholding confidentiality and dignity.
- Contribute to health-promotion activities and support patients with long-term conditions, frailty, and end-of-life care.

Minimum Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- A minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last 3 years, working in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role.
- Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting (Required).
- SVQ LEVEL 3 Qualification with proven experience in medication administration.
- Registration: Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland applicants require relevant registration (SSSC, SCW, NISCC).
- Skills: Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling.
- Qualities: Compassion, teamwork, flexibility, and a professional approach.
